The remains of the former Führerhauptquartier are located in the middle of Masuria and are overgrown by forests. The complex is a hidden town in this thickly wooded area featuring 200 buildings such as bunkers, barracks, 2 airports, an energy plant, a train station, conditioning devices, water works, heating plants and two teleprinter terminals.

In the former guard-house there is a hotel with a restaurant. It is a perfect place to stay for visitors looking forward to relaxing and touring the surroundings. From this location you will easily reach the towns of Węgorzewo (Angerburg), Święta Lipka (Heiligenlinde), Reszel (Rößel) with its castle, Mamerki (Mauerwald), Kętrzyn (Rastenburg) and Giżycko (Lötzen).
Visitors to the headquarters may take a guided tour with an English, German, Russian, French or Italian speaking guide.
